A few simple techniques make the difference between a good panorama and a great one.
Pivot Videos (Rotation)
Stand at one spot and slowly rotate your phone around a fixed central axis — the way a tripod head rotates. This is perfect for wide landscape shots, room interiors, and any scene where you want a wide field of view from a single fixed point. Keep your elbows tucked in and rotate from your waist or shoulders to stay stable.
Strafe Videos (Translation)
Move your phone sideways while keeping it aimed at the same subject and the same distance from it. This works well for flat subjects at close range — a wide painting, a shop front, a wall mural, or any subject that is wider than your lens can capture in one shot. Walk smoothly and keep the camera at a consistent height.
Tips for Great Results
Move slowly and smoothly
Fast movement causes blur and makes frame alignment harder. A slow, steady pan gives the stitcher the best material to work with.
Use even lighting
Avoid sweeping through strong shadows or areas with very different exposure levels. Consistent lighting across the full pan produces the cleanest result.
Trim tightly
Use the trim handles to include only the panning motion. Cut out any still sections at the start or end — the stitcher is most effective with continuous, intentional movement.
Minimise moving objects
People or vehicles crossing the frame can cause stitching artefacts. Capture the scene when it is as static as possible for the best output.
Match quality to your goal
Choose 2K or 4K for panoramas you plan to print or display at large size. Use 720p for quick, shareable results — it processes much faster.

Yes. Open the Images tab, pick a set of photos from your gallery, drag to reorder them if needed, then tap Stitch.
Processing time depends on the segment length and output resolution. Most clips complete in a few seconds to around a minute.
Seams usually appear when there is rapid movement, significant lighting change between frames, or the trim range includes too many still frames. Try a slower pan and trim the clip tightly to the moving section.
Yes. All processing happens on your device. No network connection is required for stitching, saving, or sharing.
